Youth Activities Association

This program is designed to provide youth, grades 3 to 8 with opportunities to participate in a variety of activities. During the regular school year, children may attend immediately after school on Monday through Thursday until 6:30 pm.

The youth room is equipped with a pool table, big screen TV,a stereo, various pinball machines, a ping-pong table, air-hockey table, and a play station. Youth are welcome to stop by and check out this room anytime.

On certain days arts and crafts or science and cooking activities are planned. Members also use the gym for basketball, jump rope and kickball.We also use the walking track and occasionally go swimming. Sometimes we go outside for physical activities.

In addition, the Youth Association offers week-end events and special trips throughout the year. Such outings include pumpkin picking, ice skating, art museums, fishing, movie night, lock-ins, pizza parties and involvement in community events.

A new year begins in September and the fee is $10. See fees & rates for more information. By becoming a member, you save on the cost of attending a dance and other admission fees. Youth Association members also get first choice on trips.
